Dear All,

Join the Master of Arts Degree Program in International Crime and Justice, Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, and FireEye for an event about "Global Perspectives in Combating Fake News" on Monday, April 8, 2019  (6:00-8:30pm) at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Moot Court, 6th Floor, New Building.

*Food and drinks will be served*

Fake news is a pervasive threat to democratic processes and the global economy dependent on digital platforms. The problem of fake news requires a multi-disciplinary approach to define, quantify, and propose solutions to the disruptive effects of this worldwide phenomenon on journalism, political movements and transnational cybercrime. Join CUNY for an evening of expert presentations and moderated panel discussion on where the research stands and how we might work together to amplify the deep-truth world over the post-truth alternative.
