The City of Laconia is creating a new Master Plan that will guide land use policy, housing, transportation, economic development, and community investment over the next 10–15 years, and we want to feature photos taken by the community in the new plan. The deadline for all photo submissions is July 1st, 2026. Photos are to be submitted under one of three categories:
Natural Landscape: Photos of Laconia’s natural beauty — lakes, rivers, forests, trails, mountains, wildlife, sunsets, and seasonal scenery.
Built Environment: Photos of buildings, neighborhoods, our downtown, parks, streetscapes, historic sites, infrastructure, or other human-made features in Laconia.
Community / People: Photos that show people enjoying life in Laconia — community events, recreation, families, local businesses, volunteers, or everyday moments.
There will be one winner selected in each category - each will receive a $50 gift card to a local restaurant.
Photo Requirements
Photos must be taken in Laconia, NH
You must be the photographer
Photos should be high quality and clear
File format: JPG or PNG preferred
By submitting, you give the City of Laconia permission to use your photo in the Master Plan and related publications (with credit to you).
