Purpose:
This follow‑up survey explores how you participate, what helps you feel connected, and what would deepen your experience as an online worshiper. Your responses are confidential and will help this congregation strengthen our digital ministry. It will also aid digital ministry research.
Background:
This survey is part of the field research of Rev. Colleen Darraugh, MCC clergy and doctoral student at United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities, for her dissertation “Digital Ministry: Mission. Engagement. Connection.” (Dissertation advisor Dr. Laurie Lyter Bright.) This research is subject to the requirements and standards of the Seminary and generally accepted research practices. Your participation is voluntary and confidential. Thank you for taking the time to answer these 30 questions (mostly multiple choice) which should take less than 10 minutes.
Previously, a survey was shared with onsite and online worship attenders. Insights from that survey were shared with your congregation. Co-learning training was provided to those involved with your digital ministry. This is the follow-up survey of online attenders only to measure any impact. Anonymous, compiled results and insights will be shared with your Pastor and Digital Ministry Team. Results will also be part of the overall research.
Congregants should complete only one survey per person and per device. If there are two people in the household or email address, please use different devices to complete the survey.
