Educators become eligible for this award via nomination from the community. The recipient of this award is selected from the pool of nominees by the AYCO/ACE board of directors.
It is ok if various people submit a nomination for for the same candidate without knowing - we anticipate this may occur. Additionally, a group of people may join together to fill out the form for a nominee if they think it will create the strongest application. Volume of nominations for a single person does not give a candidate a better chance - the nominee will be selected based on their compatibility with the criteria the award is based on and the answers the nominators provide.
Please note- you may not save the survey and re-visit it later, so we suggest you read through it, work on your answers, and then submit once you have all of the content ready.
The deadline for nominations is September 15th.
The winner of this award receives a complementary conference pass to the 2020 EdCon and a commemorative certificate.
