* 4. VPSU, the organization that oversees our summer swim league, has proposed an abbreviated, 4-meet season starting after July 4. We would have two away meets and two home meets, and be responsible for modifying meet protocol to accommodate social distancing requirements as best we can. This would include limited to no spectators on deck, fewer timers, and no concession stands. Families would be asked to limit the number of non-swimming attendees, spread blankets on the grass near the pool, and stay mostly in their own space while not actively competing. How interested would your family be in participating in this type of swim meet?

* 5. Another option we've discussed as team leadership would be to have an informal swim team with practices and a few intra-neighborhood meets. The same social distancing guidelines would be in place, but we wouldn't be hosting another team. The meet structure would likely be somewhat less formal. How interested would you and your family be in participating in this type of meet?

Because we will not be able to provide concession sales for fundraising, it is likely that swim fees would increase this year in order to be able to pay our fixed costs (coaching, insurance, etc, which are the same in both the VPSU and intra-neighborhood scenarios). Would your family still be interested in participating if the 2020 swim fee was $100 per child?
