Call for Presenters

The Rochester Chapter of the national Association for Talent Development, ROCATD, is excited to host our second annual Talent Development Summit October 21 & October 22, 2019. Our theme this year is “Embracing Talent and the Future of Work”.

Day one will feature workshops highlighting current methodologies of engagement presented by sponsor talent development organizations. Day two is a full day conference featuring a wide range of sessions all focused on the future of work in three categories: WORKPLACE TRAINING AND LEARNING; LEADERSHIP; NEUROSCIENCE AND LEARNING.

Conference content will be designed for professionals leading organizations talent development and engagement activities; professionals providing training, organizational development, coaching; and anyone who is curious about how best to interact with and engage the workplace as we move into the future.

In our organizations, things change so rapidly. New technology comes along fast and becomes obsolete just as quickly. Decisions must be made at lightning speed for organizations to stay agile as competition tightens. The workforce is becoming more diverse with women, Millennials and people of color becoming dominant players and looking for a seat at the table. The future of work encompasses changes in work, the workforce and the workplace. To understand what’s going on and, more importantly, what we can do about it, it’s important to consider multiple converging trends and how they are already fundamentally changing all aspects of work—with implications for individuals, businesses, and society.

Please describe how your proposed content addresses the Future of Work in one of the three areas identified (WORKPLACE TRAINING AND LEARNING; LEADERSHIP; NEUROSCIENCE AND LEARNING). Also please note how you may incorporate areas of the ATD Competency Model.
