The 2017 Museums Australia (QLD) Conference Organising Committee invites input into the development of themes and topics for the National Conference, Museums & Galleries in their Cultural Landscapes, being held in Brisbane in May 2017. The Conference provides a major professional development opportunity for gallery and museum paid and volunteer staff throughout Australia and New Zealand. The Conference program will explore topical issues in museum and gallery practice. The Conference will also provide valuable networking opportunities through the program of social activities.
