Have Your Say on Splash Park Food Outlets

Since the Port Douglas Splash Park opened in September 2025, Council has received several enquiries from businesses interested in operating food and drink outlets near the park.
This survey is designed to gather views on whether a privately operated food or beverage business should be established adjacent to the Splash Park.
If there is community support, any such outlet established at the Splash Park would be run by a private operator under an agreement with Council, not by Council itself.
A public tender process would be done first, inviting tenders from prospective operators. Proposed options could include mobile vendors, semi-permanent setups, or potentially multiple outlets.
Feedback is requested by 13 May 2026.
