Knowledge Institute Youth Advisory Council Application

Thank you for your interest in our Youth Advisory Council! We are looking forward to reviewing your application and appreciate your time 😊

Our Youth Advisory Council is made up of young people of diverse genders, identities, ethnicities, and cultural backgrounds. We always strive to diversify our Council’s voice and ensure it is representative of youth experiences across the province of Ontario. We especially encourage youth from equity-deserving communities (e.g., Black, Indigenous, racialized, immigrant/refugee, 2LSGBTQIA+, disabled, neurodiverse, young parents, etc.) and those who are working and/or who are pursuing alternative schooling (e.g., college, specialized programs) to apply.

Council members receive an honorarium (direct deposit) of a minimum of $50 per monthly meeting. Council members may participate in the Knowledge Institute’s Youth Advisory Council for up to two years. Please visit the Youth Advisory Council page on our website for more information about our Youth Advisory Council, the application process, and Council membership.
