Survey Introduction and Informed Consent Statement
This survey, which is part of my graduate work at Xavier University (Cincinnati, OH), is designed for secondary education language arts teachers who teach "Huckleberry Finn" and at least one other multicultural text to their students. Teachers who have taught "Huckleberry Finn" along with at least one other multicultural text in the past can also complete this survey.
This survey seeks to explore secondary educators' perceptions of whether or not multicultural literature, particularly "Huckleberry Finn", affects students' understanding of racial tolerance and acceptance.
Participation in this survey in completely optional; your answers will remain confidential and the results will not be published. There are no known risks associated with this survey. You may end this survey at any time. A copy of this survey's results will be emailed to you upon request.
