WHY IS THIS STUDY BEING DONE?
This study seeks to learn more about your experiences receiving mental health consultation and the impact of mental health consultation on children, parents, providers, and administrators.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT IF I PARTICIPATE?
You will be asked to participate in an online survey that asks about your experiences with mental health consultation. The survey will take about 15 minutes to complete.
CAN I DECIDE TO PARTICIPATE?
Your participation is voluntary. You can decide not to participate. You can change your mind about being in the study at any time by contacting Dr. Eva Shivers (contact info below). Your decision will not be held against you. You can choose to skip any survey questions you do not wish to answer. Your decision to participate will not affect your job or your relationship with your mental health consultant.
WILL ANYONE KNOW THAT I AM PARTICIPATING?
Your survey answers and records are confidential (private). Your name and identifying information will not be asked in this survey. The results of the study may be published but will not be connected to your name. No one will have access to your survey responses outside of the research team.
ARE THERE ANY BENEFITS OR RISKS?
We cannot promise any direct benefits for your participation. However, the goal of this study is to understand the impact and improve outcomes of mental health consultation in San Francisco. Your participation involves very little risk to you. The research team maintains very strict data security and confidentiality practices, thereby minimizing the risk of leaks of private information.
