Bogan Shire Gap Year Program 2027

Bogan Shire Council is providing an exciting opportunity for local school leavers (who have completed Year 10 and are aged 17 years and older) to gain practical work experience, explore roles that interest them and take their first steps towards a future career.

This opportunity, for young people from the Bogan Shire who are preparing to leave school, including those who have attended boarding school or studied outside the Shire and who are looking to return home.

Whether you have a career in mind or are still working out where your interest lies, this is an opportunity to build connections, develop workplace skills and learn more about the range of careers available within Council.

This opportunity could help you discover what you want your career to look like, and may lead to further study and ongoing employment opportunities supported by us.
