Please read prior to applying to be a GEM Mentee
Dear GEM Mentee Applicant,
Thank you for your interest in the 2023-24 GEM Program!
This program will run from September 2023 to May 2024. It will include a mentorship relationship with an experienced professional and an extensive professional development curriculum.
THINGS TO NOTE:
1. While we try to match Mentors and Mentees based on shared career interests, the GEM Team cannot guarantee that Mentees will be matched with a Mentor in their desired career field. The GEM Team will match all Mentees based on shared hobbies and personalities, even if a career match is not possible. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, healthcare officials are less able to volunteer their time.
2. To qualify as a GEM Mentee, you are required to live in the Hamilton-Wentworth area and you must be enrolled in high school when the program begins in September 2023.
We carefully screen each application. Please ensure the information you provide is thorough and correct.
** YOUR APPLICATION IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL THE PARENTAL WAIVER IS FILLED OUT.
