1. Background and survey instructions:

The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care is seeking comment on updating the Guiding principles for medication management in residential aged care facilities.
 
Several topics of importance in the medication management landscape have been identified since their release.
 
Gaining the views and perspectives of stakeholders will be a critical aspect to this work to ensure updated set of guiding principles are relevant and meet your needs.

Please note: Depending upon your background as a stakeholder, you are also invited to provide your views on review of the Guiding principles for medication management in the community which is being conducted concurrently via a separate survey. The findings of this survey may be published on the Commission’s website, and may include verbatim responses to the consultation questions along with the names of organisations. No individual names or personal information will be published or reported.
