PFAS Discussion Paper Survey

In order to best respond to this survey please review the PFAS Discussion Paper Executive Summary Document and/or the PFAS Discussion Paper. This will ensure APCO can provide accurate and informed Industry sentiment to Government, update the Action Plan, and prioritise the development of the appropriate tools and resources to support Industry.

This survey will be open from 11 May - 22 June.

6.Should the maximum allowable threshold level of PFAS (Measured as Total Fluorine (TF)) be reduced from 100ppm to 50ppm?(Required.)
7.Are there any packaging formats/applications where there are no current alternatives to intentionally added PFAS that may need to be considered when expanding the scope of the phase out (i.e expanding from food contact fibre based packaging to all packaging)?
8.What are the challenges currently when reporting on the PFAS phase-out through the optional tab in the Packaging Metrics Upload component of APCO Annual Reporting ?
9.What additional support/resources could APCO provide to assist Members in phasing out intentionally added PFAS in packaging?
