Welcome! I'm Kane Martin, Design Master's technical writer and keeper of most of the written and video content we produce for our users.

David Robison and I have been working together on the Design Master newsletter since I joined the company in late 2018. This year, I want to spend some time improving our newsletter. To that end, I need your help.

We want the newsletter to be valuable to you, which means we need to know what you consider valuable content. Indicate below how useful or interesting you consider the current newsletter features to be. You'll also get to offer your opinion on some ideas we're thinking about adding. Finally, there will be a freeform section at the end for any other thoughts you might have.

Thanks for your feedback!

Question Title

* 5. Here are some ideas we're considering adding to the newsletter.
NOTE: Some of these ideas will be implemented throughout the year. Feel free to let us know your thoughts on how they have been implemented.

How much do you like each idea?

  1 -- Strongly dislike 2 3 -- Neutral 4 5 -- Strongly like
Industry-related news: Say a few words and share a few articles related to recent noteworthy events in the world of MEP and/or BIM.
Job postings: Is your company looking for an engineer or designer? Advertise to professionals who are already familiar with Design Master (or might know someone looking for work).
Shorter customer stories: Rather than put the full customer story in the newsletter, put in the introductory section and a link to the full story on the website.
Mastermind after-the-fact: Each month, David hosts a roundtable with active Design Master users to discuss topics related to electrical design (and MEP work in general). This idea would provide a summary of the most recent discussions, and an invite to future masterminds.
Unrelated, entertaining tidbits: Maybe you want something lighthearted to brighten your day, like lesser-known observances for the upcoming months or a relevant joke. (For instance: Ask an engineer for the answer to 1+1, and you will hear, “I’m pretty sure it's 2, but we’d better make it 3, just to be safe.”)
