Vardis Operating Partner Survey

Welcome to our first annual Private Equity Operating Partner Survey. We appreciate your participation and are confident you will find the survey of value in your understanding of the market. This survey joins Vardis’ other PE-focused surveys on CEO and CFO compensation and Equity Participation Plans. Copies of these annual reports can be found on our website.

We estimate that the survey should take 6-9 minutes to complete. Responses are anonymous and aggregated and not attributable to any individual. We expect to publish results in the middle of Q3 this year. If you have questions, please contact any member of the Vardis team.

The structure of portfolio operations and operations support, and the role of operating partner, varies widely from firm to firm. Even within a firm, multiple operations support models exist side by side. This survey gives participants the opportunity to benchmark confidentially their compensation and job structure with peers working for different investors worldwide.

Note: The survey is published in English, and all financial figures are presented in USD, using US-centric terminology (e.g., "revenue" rather than "turnover") to maintain consistency across the dataset.
