HandsOn Suburban Chicago (HOSC) is the volunteer center serving Northern Cook and Northern DuPage Counties. By harnessing the power of volunteers, HOSC strengthens 44 communities and builds capacity for over 100 nonprofits. In addition to mobilizing and deploying volunteers to serve with community nonprofits, schools, healthcare, and governmental organizations, we also run direct service programs to meet the needs of our community and fill gaps for underserved, under-resourced populations; this includes our school programs, days of service, nonprofit training and capacity building, volunteer matching website, and volunteer matching services for individuals 55 and better.

To help us meet the needs of our community nonprofit partners, businesses, and people who live, work, and play in Northern Cook and DuPage counties, we regularly conduct assessments. We appreciate you investing your time to help us make sure that we are continuing to meet the evolving needs of our community. If you have any questions or want to learn more about how you can share your time, talents and passions with your community drop us a note at volunteer@handsonsuburbanchicago.org.
