Welcome to the SFPE Chapter Evaluation and Awards for Chapter Excellence (ACE) form, and thank you in advance for being a part of this important member initiative!
As you may be aware, SFPE Standing Rules require each chapter president to submit annually a list of chapter members and a completed chapter evaluation form which will also be used for the Award for Chapter Excellence (ACE). This year, our form is also gathering your input on how your chapter is operating as part of an initiative to improve our chapter program and support – a key goal in our 2016 Strategic Plan.
The information you share will help us understand where we are collectively, the environment chapters are working within and identify the areas where our organizations offer real value to one another and most critically to members. It will also provide insight on best methods of communications to members locally and to chapter leaders like yourself, garner ideas to improve overall working relationships, and identify best tactics to increase member affiliation at all levels of the organization.
We understand your time is valuable and trust that the survey will be easy to follow and to complete. It is designed to be completed in one session, however you can leave the survey and return at another time if necessary. This is so important that when you complete the survey by April 4, we'll enter your chapter in a drawing for one of 3 prizes: a 1 Year SFPE Membership; $100 SFPE Book Store Credit on SFPE published books; or a full-registration to either 11th Conference on Performance-Based Codes and Fire Safety Design Methods being held on 23-25 May 2016 in Warsaw, Poland OR the SFPE North America Conference & Expo being held in Denver, CO on Sept 25-30, 2016.
