Ever since we stopped presenting the Arts program at Solar One, we have considered doing a micro film series inside the building during the cold months. And this seems like the perfect year to start this program!

If there is enough interest, we will screen three environmental documentaries on the last Fridays of January (the 27th), February the 24th) and March (the 31st). Please fill out this survey to indicate whether you're available on the proposed dates and which films you'd like to see. We'll publish the schedule on solar1.org and in the newsletter the first week of January 2017.

Popcorn and some beverages will be available, and there will be a suggested donation of $10. If the program is popular, we may expand it at the end of 2017 into 2018.

Dirt!: The story of soil, the ubiquitous organic matter from we we all emerge and to which we will all return someday.

Garbage Warrior: The story of New Mexico-based renegade architect Michael Reynolds and his system of "earthship architecture".
