2025 AGB Board Professionals Conference | Call for Proposals

Make the Most of the AGB Board Professionals Conference

We hope you will play a role in the 2025 AGB Board Professionals Conference! It is a great opportunity to engage with your peers and to showcase the work of your institution.

We invite AGB members to submit session/plenary/workshop proposals for the 2025 Board Professionals Conference that are creative, interactive, relevant, and deliver actionable learning. We seek proposals for sessions in several formats.

We also welcome recommendations or raised hands for a wide range of speaking roles including panelists, affinity-group facilitators, or stand-alone speakers.

The Board Professionals Conference will take place March 30-31, 2025 at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile in Chicago, IL.

Proposals should be submitted by Friday, June 14, 2024. The Board Professionals Leadership Group will be reviewing proposals after the deadline and confirming sessions and speaking roles until the agenda is complete. If you would like to propose ideas for more than one full session, use the same survey link to submit additional forms.

By submitting a proposal, all facilitators agree to, if selected:
a) engage in good faith with AGB staff throughout the planning process and through delivery of the session; and
b) register for the conference and cover their related travel expenses.

I would like to propose a session AND propose possible speakers for other roles in the conference.

I would like to volunteer for or nominate someone as a potential speaker or discussion facilitator WITHOUT proposing a specific session.

I do not want to propose a session or a speaker. I only want to suggest a topic for possible inclusion in the program.
