Community Governance Review - Rugby Radio Station site (now Houlton) in Clifton-upon-Dunsmore parish

Public consultation

Rugby Borough Council has launched a Community Governance Review (CGR) to consider the creation of a separate parish for the Rugby Radio Station site (now Houlton) in Clifton-upon-Dunsmore parish.

We have now launched the 'stage one' consultation of the CGR, where we want to hear the views of residents in the parish of Clifton-upon-Dunsmore.

Please refer to the CGR's terms of reference before completing the consultation.

Your views can help us prepare the CGR's draft recommendations, which then become subject to the CGR's 'stage two' consultation - set to take place in May 2026.

1.We're seeking the views of residents of the parish of Clifton-upon-Dunsmore, interested parties and stakeholders. Please tell us your name and postcode.
2.Do you support Rugby Borough Council removing the former Rugby Radio Station site (now Houlton) from Clifton-upon-Dunsmore's parish boundaries and consider the creation of a new parish council to serve the Houlton area?
3.If you support the proposal, please provide any comments on why you believe the proposal would be beneficial in terms of representing local residents?
4.What should be the name of the new parish council?
5.Do you think a new parish council will improve local services and efficiency?
6.If you do not support the proposal, please provide any comments on why you believe the proposal would not be beneficial in terms of representing local residents?
7.Any further comments on the CGR? Let us know.
