Crowdfunding Stakeholder's Mapping

DSLBD & WDCEP are supporting a 3-months stakeholder series to connect and grow the ecosystem of support for small businesses in DC interested in pursuing crowdfunding. The goals of the stakeholder mapping exercise are listed below:

1) Identify and understand challenges and opportunities that exist in the crowdfunding Ecosystem
2) Identify various ways entrepreneurs are using the crowdfunding platform to raise capital and raise the profile of crowdfunding as an avenue to raise capital for businesses
3) Provide opportunities for businesses to network and learn about successful crowdfunding techniques
4) Troubleshoot challenges businesses are facing utilizing crowdfunding platform
5) Create a strategic direction for the Stakeholders’ group to advance crowdfunding in DC
