Background: The
Australian Contact Tracing Guidelines (2026) supersedes the Australasian Contact Tracing Guidelines (2022).
Following the consultation period, the web version of these guidelines will be integrated throughout the
Australian STI Management Guidelines, replacing existing contact tracing content. The
Australasian Contact Tracing Guidelines (2022) website will subsequently be archived. The standalone PDF version is provided for those who prefer to download, print or reference the guidelines as a complete document.

All feedback will be reviewed and considered as part of the finalisation process of the Australian Contact Tracing Guidelines (2026).
