With funding from Safer Care Victoria (SCV), Health Issues Centre is offering six customised support packages open to all Victorian public health services for the purposes of embedding the SCV Partnering in Healthcare Framework and the NSQHS Standard 2- Partnering with consumers.

Coaching
Between September 2022 and June 2023, six health services will receive up to 20 hours of remote advice and resources, including how to:
  • develop/review your consumer engagement policies, frameworks and work plans
  • develop accreditation audits, self-assessment and gap analysis tools
  • review your approaches to implementing the 5 domains of the SCV Partnering in Healthcare Framework and the NSQHS Standard 2- Partnering with consumers

Training
We will also run up to three two-hour online training sessions for boards, management, clinical and non-clinical staff and consumers on self-nominated topics. HIC have training available on a wide range of relevant topics and in order to make sure the training is of most use, the successful applicants will be able to nominate the audiences and training topics most useful to them.
