The Lanterman Housing Alliance (LHA), a statewide association that serves the housing needs of people with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (I/DD), is heading up a landmark project, in partnership with the Corporation for Supportive Housing and funded by the State Council on Developmental Disabilities. The purpose of the project is to find out how people with I/DD are living in California. Where are they living? Is it what they choose? If not, where would they rather be living, and what is preventing them from living there?
You have been asked to complete this survey because of your unique knowledge of these issues. For example, you may be a person with I/DD, have someone with I/DD in your family, work with people with I/DD, provide them with services, or be a housing developer. If you don't fall exactly into any of the below listed categories, but you are still knowledgeable on the subject, please identify yourself as an "advocate."

When you start your survey we will ask for your name, email, and phone number. We will use that to prevent duplication, and to send you information about this project when it is completed, if requested.
This survey will help State housing policymakers, service providers, and housing developers address how to create more affordable housing opportunities for people with I/DD. Please answer all the questions in your section.
Though the survey appears long, once you identify yourself below, you will be directed to only one section of the survey with questions tailored for you. The survey should take approximately 20 minutes to complete.
