The Ormiston State School P&C meets throughout the year to, amongst other priorities for the school, plan and arrange family-friendly events for our students, their families and the local community.

These events importantly help raise funds that our state school relies on to provide much needed facilities and equipment for the school and students. For example, in the past funds raised have been used for:

·       installing air conditioning in all classrooms

·       new playgrounds and upgrading for existing facilities

·       subscriptions to Mathletics and Reading Eggs on-line teaching programs for all students

·       subsidies for students attending sporting events as representatives.

P&C events also help maintain a cohesive community by bringing together families of the school, members of the Redlands community and local businesses throughout a range of fun activities and events focused on social wellbeing.

We would be open to considering paying a small annual donation to supplement fundraising
