Every year in April, the 8th Judicial District observes National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW), which will be April 8th-17th in 2018.

This year’s theme—Expand The Circle. Reach All Victims. – emphasizes the importance of inclusion in victim services. It addresses how the crime victims field can better ensure that every crime victim has access to services and support; and how professionals, organizations, and communities can work in tandem to reach all victims. These awards recognize the exceptional achievement of dedicated professionals and volunteers in the field of victim services.

Any resident of the 8th Judicial District (Larimer and Jackson Counties) may be be nominated for an award as an individual or as part of a larger group. Self-nominations are not accepted, so those who wish to be nominated may want to seek a sponsor. Winners will be selected by a sub-committee of the Victims' Rights Week planning committee.

All nominations must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 9th.
