This survey is intended for residents of Ottawa Ward 21: Rideau-Jock. A separate survey for other rural Ottawa wards is available at: https://tinyurl.com/WardMy .
A private company is proposing a bus system for Ward 21 that will provide residents with a means to travel within the ward, to a major shopping area, and also connect them to a main OC Transpo route and Ottawa's LRT service.
The system will be based on a fleet of 22-passenger mini-buses. The system would operate seven days a week, between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Several interconnecting routes would be established, allowing buses to circle within the ward approximately every two hours. A one-way passenger fare of $3 is estimated, along with a $10 daily pass and a $100 monthly pass.
You are invited to participate in this survey to help identify the service that would be appropriate for your needs.
Thank you for taking the time to help us understand the transportation needs of Ottawa's rural residents.
