Sunshine Coast Community Services Society (SCCSS) hosted a virtual Public Information Meeting on May 20th, 2020. This Public Information Meeting is a rezoning application requirement of the District of Sechelt. SCCSS has requested a zoning text amendment to the existing C-2 Zone to increase the height of the development from 3 storeys to 6 storeys (10.5m to 22m) to permit the mixed use residential and program/office space.

SCCSS has developed this survey as part of its public engagement strategy to connect with as many members of the community as possible.

This increase in building height would allow for SCCSS programming space and 34 units of affordable housing for single women, women with children, single women who are older, and young women who are aging out of care.
