Living in and working from the margins is bravery!

...and we want you with us! The Action Alliance is committed to creating space for you who have been traditionally oppressed in society and/or marginalized in anti-violence work. We believe it makes our work stronger when you have the opportunity to be full and active participants within the Alliance and to be leaders in our field. We need you!

To that end, we are offering scholarships to Action Alliance members to help cover the cost of the Retreat to assist those who would not be able to attend otherwise. This year, scholarships are prioritized for Native people, Immigrants and Refugees, and People of Color who are members of the Action Alliance. Depending on demand, we will also try to prioritize scholarship funds for people from other historically marginalized and/or oppressed communities.

Retreat registration (including single occupancy dormitory lodging, group meals, and Catalyst Award dinner) costs $240 for Action Alliance SDVA members, and $280 for Lifetime, Affiliate, and Professional members ($325 for non-members). This scholarship is equal to half of the fee to register one member: $120.
If you would like to be considered for a scholarship, please complete this form and you will be contacted with a discount code to use at our registration site.

**Scholarship applications are due by April 30, 2017. Decisions regarding scholarship applications will be made by May 9, 2017.**
