New Product Display (Non-OEM “Vendor” Exhibitors Only)

The New Product Display (Exclusive to “Dealer-facing Vendors”) is the central location for the latest innovations from trailer part and accessory vendors. Often, the pedestals that these new products rest on are in high-traffic areas, providing your products with thousands of views over the course of the NATDA Trailer Show.

At the 2023 NATDA Trailer Show, the New Product Display will be in the front lobby, where the dealers-only mid-day break will take place prior to the opening of the show. Here, hundreds of dealers will gather around these new products as they wait for the doors to open.

Dealers will vote on the products they like best, with awards going to First, Second and Third-placed votes.

Product Eligibility
The New Product Display is open to Vendor Exhibitors ONLY. The submission must be a physical product that be on display at the event; service(s) will not qualify. All first-time exhibitors will be permitted (1) free entry, regardless of product release date. However, products for any previous exhibitors must have been released after the close of the previous year’s Trailer Show – September 2nd, 2022.

Cost
Exhibitors may submit ONE new product, provided it adheres to the New Product Display Entry Guidelines, for free. Additional upgrades and product options are listed below.

Please be aware that only physical products are allowed. Service providers and consultants are not permitted entry. Weight restrictions do apply, though NATDA can often work around these potential issues with enough notice. For any questions regarding entry, please contact an NATDA representative.

Display Options
Products on display have one of two counter size options. NATDA will choose the counter display that best fits the Exhibitor’s product based on the specifications submitted in the New Product Display application. Some products may share a larger counter. Should an Exhibitor’s product exceed the specifications necessary to display on one of NATDA's counters, an NATDA representative will contact the Exhibitor regarding additional display options that may be available in limited quantity.

Bringing your Product to the New Product Display
Exhibitors are responsible for bringing their new products to the NATDA Trailer Show themselves. A common recommendation is for Exhibitors to include it in their booth shipment. Once at the show, Exhibitors must bring the product to NATDA staff personnel at the New Product Display area in the lobby during either of the following times:

It is recommended that Exhibitors bring their new products as early as possible to maximize exposure. Dealers often arrive early to pick up badges, giving them time to peruse the new products.

Regular security will monitor the New Product Display after hours. Units within display cases will also be locked.

New Product Display Raffle
Each year, NATDA will raffle away New Product Display items to dealer attendees on the last day of the show. Exhibitors in the New Product Display have the option to choose to participate in the raffle during the application process. Participants are NOT required to take part in the raffle.

Raffle Process: Once a winner is announced, the winner will be instructed to visit the appropriate Exhibitor’s booth to discuss the logistics of obtaining the product. Often, dealers can take smaller products home with them, while larger ones may need to be shipped. Exhibitors will also be given the winner’s contact information as an added measure to facilitate the process.

NATDA takes no part in the process other than connecting the winners’ contact information with the appropriate Exhibitors.
