This is for the first of the Youth Speaks Seattle 2025-2026 Slam Series. Top 3 winners of this slam will be invited to our grand slam in April or May and winners of the grand slam will be invited to Brave New Voices, the international youth poetry competition. This is an ALL EXPENSE PAID trip to perform with some of the best minds in poetry.

Event will be December 12th and poets will be expected to show up by 5 PM.
Event will be held at Freehold Theater 517 Maynard Ave S, Seattle, WA 98104

There is no theme for this event and no requirement for NEW creations, though all poems must be original by the poet.

1.What would you like to be called?
2.Got a title you want to be announced with? I.E. The Risktaker Outta Rainier
3.The Slam will have three rounds, where poems can be up to three minutes each. Do you have three poems of your own creation which can be used?
4.Sunday, December 7th 12-2 PM @ Made Space in Central District We will be hosting a performance workshop to practice together. Will you be able to join us?
