Introduction

Presented below are 20 statements that describe behaviors of a learning culture.  Please indicate the extent to which your organization practices the behaviors in each statement.

We define "learning" as increasing and applying the knowledge and skills of an individual, team, functional unit, or whole organization.  

Learning is achieved through formal training programs, online courses, project debriefs, coaching and mentoring, team discussions, and a number of other informal activities in the course of a workday. 

A “learning culture” is a work environment where continuous learning is valued and embedded in the routines of the organization.
