Concept 1: Abstract Scenery

Concept 1 Rationale:

The letters ‘W’ and ‘R’ come together to emphasize the flowing water, open green spaces, and cliffs that
make up the rural landscape of West River.

Question Title

Concept 2: River Monogram

Concept 2 Rationale:

A calligraphy-inspired ‘W’ that is reminiscent of waves brings movement to
this monogram. The result is 3 individual components that come together to great
one elegant mark that paints a scene and draws on the community-focus that
West River promotes.

Concept 3: Block Lighthouse

Concept 3 Rationale:

The high emphasis on geometry of the logomark represents the blockhouse
style of Rocky Point in order to help set it apart from a generic lighthouse
design. Inspired by the angles of a ‘W’ and ‘R,’ within this shape one may find
angles that allude to the cliffs and waves of the West River landscape.
