AI-CSAM Guidance for Professionals Survey

In June 2025, the National Crime Agency (NCA) collaborated with Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) to develop guidance for all professionals working with children and young people. Our guides provide essential information on understanding, identifying and responding to incidents involving AI-CSAM.

This survey aims to explore the impact and effectiveness of the guidance. Your insights as a professional working with children and young people are invaluable to us. We hope to use the findings from this survey to better inform the law enforcement, educational, and wider response to this threat area.

This survey should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete. Your response is anonymous.

Please note, this survey is not a reporting tool. It is for information and research purposes only. Please do not disclose details that may identify people in a situation of concern. If you need to report an incident of AI-generated child sexual abuse, please follow your organisation's safeguarding procedures.

You can view the guidance here.

If you consent to completing the survey, please begin with the questions below.
1.Does your role involve working with children and young people?
2.What is your role?
3.What type of setting do you work in?
