Bring Your Ideas to Light!

We all know that quality of life for a community depends upon the reliability of its transportation, the quality of its sewer and storm systems, and the accessibility of many other essential public services.

Streets, sewer systems, traffic signals, parks, and public buildings provide the backbone of the local economy, influencing the flow of goods, residential development, and business location decisions.

The Engineering and Transportation Department is working on the next budget document and we need your project ideas.

The CIP funds construction and maintenance of our infrastructure. Think BIG picture and long term and tell us where we should spend our future infra-structure money.

Submit your ideas for capital projects that will maintain or enhance the quality of life as the population in San Leandro grows and changes and as technology changes the way we live and do business.

We accept Ideas all year but the last call for projects to be included in FY 2023-24 and FY 2024-25 budget is August 1, 2022.
