We are looking for early career scientists (doctoral and post-doctoral level) to staff the COP 27 Cryosphere Pavilion, hosted in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, from 6 - 18 November 2022. Volunteering involves introducing speakers, as well as explaining and answering questions about exhibits to share the importance of cryosphere science in an accessible way. The experience will provide volunteers with an inside view of a COP and negotiations to further their future scientific or policy careers.

Accreditations and funding permitting, we hope to continue to build on the successful early career scientist volunteer programs from COP 25 and COP 26 - including providing accommodation and travel to COP 27, to allow more global participation and add to the strong early career presence at the COP.

If you are interested, please fill out the form below and send your CV to ICCI's Global Outreach Director, Emma Needham, at emma@iccinet.org using the following filename format: first name_lastname_CV. Applications will close on August 15 2022, but be evaluated (including interviews) on a rolling basis throughout August; so early application is strongly encouraged! Finalists will be notified by September 1, with reserve applicants notified by September 15.

If you have questions, please contact Emma or Amy Imdieke - ICCI's Outreach and Administrative Assistant amy@iccinet.org.
