Why are we asking about this information?

Last year, nonprofit partnerships with state government came under attack with House Bill 170.

Although this bill was not passed last year, its passage would have made it much more difficult for nonprofits to partner with state agencies for funding.

Our goal with this flash survey is to collect as many examples as we can of positive, effective, ways that nonprofits are partnering with state government on funding.

Nonprofits are often closest to the people because of the services, events, and programs we provide to the public--it, therefore, makes sense that state agencies would actively look to partner with nonprofits to reach citizens of Idaho for mutual benefit.

Your answers below will help us actively prevent and defend against similar legislation in 2024 to ensure that our sector can continue partnering with state government effectively, without undue interference.
