Working definitions
  • Giant Screen documentary: Generally a documentary film approximately 20 or 40 minutes long.
  • Native fulldome documentary: A pre-rendered documentary, generally 20-40 minutes long, created for immersive 180-degree dome presentation.
  • Hollywood feature: A feature-length theatrical film released commercially, including new releases, repertory, and classic films.
  • Alternative and event content: Specialty programming other than Giant Screen documentaries or Hollywood features, including live or streamed events, live-presenter astronomy shows, concerts, gaming, lectures, independent films, and laser light shows.
  • Reference periods: Unless stated otherwise, report 2025 as actual January-December 2025 results and 2026 as estimated full-calendar-year January-December 2026 results. If your organization uses a different fiscal year, estimate the calendar-year results.
  • Reporting data: Enter 0 only when the true value is zero. Leave numeric fields blank when unknown or unavailable, or choose the provided unavailable response. Never use zero to mean unknown.
  • Theater reporting unit: If your organization operates multiple Giant Screen theater locations, select ONE location for the Theater section (if selected) and use that same location throughout Section T. Submit separate responses for additional theater locations. Do not combine attendance, theater revenue, or theater operations across locations. If the selected location has both flat-screen and dome spaces, report for that location unless a question specifies an individual screen.
  • Reporting scope: Answer Sections A, B, and C once for the Giant Screen business operation covered by this response, including each activity selected in A2. Answer each selected business section for that activity, not for unrelated operations of a parent organization. Theater-section answers refer to the one selected theater location.
