100th Annual Celebration of Business & Community Awards

Help us celebrate 100 years of business, community, and Chamber impact by nominating a business, organization, or individual who makes the Devils Lake area stronger. Nominations do not need to be long or formal, a few thoughtful sentences are enough. You do not need to complete every award category to submit a nomination. Simply fill out the section(s) that apply and leave the rest blank.

Complete this form for each award nomination you wish to submit. Self-nominations are accepted. Businesses and organizations must be a Chamber member in good standing to be eligible for awards. Current Members are listed in our Chamber Business Directory.

DEADLINE: All nominations must be submitted by 5 pm, Friday, August 21, 2026.

1.Chamber Member of the Year

Awarded to a Chamber Member/business that: 
• Has enthusiastically promoted community projects, events, festivals or happenings, done so exceedingly well, and received no remuneration for it.
• Is extensively involved in service and civic organizations and contribute to the success of their business organization in the community.
•  Upholds the mission of the Chamber by promoting and enhancing the quality of life for the residents of the Devils Lake Area through involvement in programs and activities focusing on commercial, industrial, agricultural, educational, and civic developments.
• Inspires others to be in community involvement through their work.
• Is a positive example of character, ethical practice, courtesy and volunteerism.
2.New Chamber Business of the Year Award

Awarded to a member business that has been in business at least one and no more than two years, and has made outstanding contributions to the Chamber and local community.
3.Long Standing Chamber Member of the Year Award 

Awarded to a member business that has been a Chamber member for 25-50 years, and has made outstanding contributions to the Chamber and local community.
4.Excellence in Small Business Award

Awarded to a member business with 1-10 employees that displays overall outstanding contributions to the Chamber and/or to the business community. 
5.Women-owned Business Achievement Award 

Awarded to a women-owned member business that has attained outstanding business achievement and exemplifies the significant contributions made by women-owned businesses. 
6.The Spark Award

Please nominate a Chamber volunteer or ambassador who has gone above and beyond this year. This individual consistently supports Chamber events, uplifts members, and brings positivity and dedication to everything they do.
Include why you believe this person deserves the Spark Award. Feel free to include a specific event, moment, or action that stood out.
