The College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (CLPNNL) has created a new document to outline the
Scope of Practice Framework for the practical nursing profession in Newfoundland and Labrador. The document also contains an Appendix A: a
Reference Guide which LPNs can use along with the Scope of Practice Framework document to determine their own individual scope of practice.
The Document development advisory group is seeking your feedback to inform the completion of these documents. The intention is to have a Scope of Practice Framework document that will eventually replace the current
CLPNNL Competency Profile.
Here is a link to the DRAFT Scope of Practice Framework document. It will take approximately 10 minutes to review this document.
The
Reference Guide will be an Appendix in the Framework document, but for the purposes of this survey, it is
linked here as a separate document. It will take approximately 5 minutes to review the Reference Guide.
Please review both documents before beginning the survey. The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. If you wish to complete the survey over time (more than one session) please SAVE your progress ( end of your page) before exiting, otherwise your information will not be retained.
