2025 Election Ballot

Criteria-Must be a member of the AARC to be placed on the election ballot

OFFICES AVAILABLE FOR 2026:
President-Elect (1 year term in President-Elect, 2 years as President, and 1 year as past president)
Vice President-Elect (1 year as VP Elect, 1 year as VP)
Lincoln Area Director (3 year term)
Secretary (2 year term)
Delegate B (4 year term)

DUTIES

PRESIDENT ELECT – The President-elect primarily uses his/her term in preparation for the Presidency and may, at times, function as President. The President-elect shall serve until the next annual business meeting and then ascend to the office of President. The President-elect shall become acting President and shall assume the duties of the President in the event of the President’s absence, resignation, or disability and shall perform such other duties as shall be assigned by the President or Board of Directors.

· VICE-PRESIDENT-ELECT
The Vice-President-Elect shall serve until the next annual business meeting and then ascend to the office of Vice-President. He/she shall become acting Vice-President and shall assume the duties of the Vice-President in the event of the Vice-President’s absence, resignation, or disability and shall perform such other duties as shall be assigned by the President or Board of Directors. He/she shall be the vice-chairperson of The Program and Education Committee.


AREA DIRECTOR, LINCOLN
Directors shall participate in the governing of the N.S.R.C. and shall perform other such duties as may be necessary or appropriate for the management of the N.S.R.C. Keeping the directors and managers of the district assigned informed of new information and updates from the NSRC.

SECRETARY
The Secretary maintains all society records and correspondence. The
Secretary will, in conjunction with the President assure that the NSRC is in
compliance with all AARC requirements for reporting.

DELEGATE B
The delegate shall serve as a representative body of the general membership and respective chartered affiliate (Nebraska). It will participate in establishment of goals and objectives for the AARC and participate in the governance of the association.
