Mini Bus Survey 2022

Heritage views outside the fence opportunities as an important avenue for learning. The acquisition of a mini bus will assist our children to get out and into the community in more meaningful ways. We want to look at whether our community values what we do on land and with community and if this is a way we can help our program grow.
1.Please tell us the room/rooms your child/ren attend at Heritage?(Required.)
2.Do you enjoy seeing your child participate in excursions and walks during their time at Heritage ?(Required.)
3.Is connecting your child with their outer community and local country important to you?(Required.)
4.What experiences would be possible if we had a mini bus?(Required.)
5.NURSERY: During nursery walks, we start learning age-appropriate safety practices with children when outside the fence. We continue to build outside the fence safety skills into the toddler/preschool room and once we see children performing these practices, we would like to offer minibus experiences. Would you like to see your child engage in minibus experiences in the future?
6.TODDLER: Once outside the fence safety has been followed and performed by toddlers, would you like to see your child have the opportunity to join minibus experiences?
7.PRESCHOOL: Currently our preschoolers already borrow a minibus which can be time consuming to borrow and prepare. Would you like the purchase of a minibus to occur so your child can have more opportunities to engage in community learning involving minibus excursions?
8.Would you allow your child to travel by a minibus fitted with Australian Standard child safety seats and driven by Heritage educators who have attended a defensive driver course?(Required.)
