Sharing Resources with SF Department of Children, Youth and Their Families for the Community Needs Assessment

Welcome and thank you for your participation!

DCYF has begun collecting data for its Community Needs Assessment (CNA). We welcome any shared information from our community that supports high-quality data collection about the needs of our City’s children, youth, and families.

We invite you to learn more about DCYF's plan for conducting the CNA; please read our CNA Plan. As we listen to the many stakeholder voices across DCYF’s advisory bodies, we incorporate iterative input and feedback. The Plan identifies a set of "priority populations" facing increased needs which support DCYF in prioritizing outreach to, and engagement with, these communities to inform the CNA process. This finalized list is included in Appendix C of the CNA Plan.

In order to best leverage our community’s expertise, connections and resources in support of high-quality data collection, DCYF welcomes the following submissions of information through this form:

Suggested Community Contacts (e.g. organizations or specific individuals who may be able to help DCYF engage with specific San Francisco communities);
Meetings, Events, or Other Occasions at which DCYF could engage in conversations about community needs (e.g. neighborhood and parent groups);
Sources of Qualitative and/or Quantitative Data about how children, youth, and families fare in San Francisco (e.g. published reports, data sets, or webpages).

This form is designed to capture one item per submission, so you may share information through the form as many times as you like. When you submit the form, you will be invited to start a new response.
