Thank you for your interest in this research study!
I’m Christina Simmons, a Black, queer therapist and doctoral researcher at Saybrook University. I'm dedicated to expanding the stories we tell about growth, healing, and resilience in Black LGBTQ+ life, and this study is part of that work.
This study explores the relationships between mindfulness, coping self-efficacy, and posttraumatic growth among Black LGBTQ+ and Same- Gender Loving (SGL) adults.
Your experiences and perspectives can contribute to a deeper understanding of healing, resilience, and mental health in our community.
Before beginning, you will be asked to answer screening questions and will have an opportunity to review the informed consent information.
I am honored by your participation and deeply grateful that you are sharing your voice.
