* 1. Australian Unity has proposed to pay your annual leave loading when you take your annual leave.  Where your current entitlements pays your annual leave loading when you either have a minimum of two weeks annual leave or in December.  Which do you prefer?

* 3. Sick leave will now become personal carers leave due to transferring to the federal system. The entitlement to the number of days remains the same however AU would like to be able to request evidence of a medical certificate at any point, they are removing the minimum of:
- 2 consecutive days; and/or
- 5 days within a calendar year.

Do you believe you should have to provide evidence of your illness at the discretion of management?

* 4. Due to the movement from the State industrial system to the Federal Industrial system AU has to comply with the Federal legislation. In complying, it requires that compassionate leave is supplied to employees at a minimum of 2 days off per death or life-threatening illness of an immediate family member.  It is similar to FACS leave, however, does not include instances of emergency family responsibilities or emergency weather conditions which prevent you from reporting for work or threatens your property.

Due to the legislation FACS leave cannot be directly imported into the enterprise agreement. However, it does not prevent leave being created in some way to reflect the gaps that are in the prescribed compassionate leave.

Where compassionate leave falls short of FACS leave do you want those gaps reflected in the enterprise agreement?

* 5. Do you believe that your delegates should be given paid work time to support you in meetings with management, attend meetings with management where they are representing your interests and attend union meetings to be able to better support you in the workplace?

* 6. AU is proposing that parental leave will only be available once 12months service has been reached. It is increasing the ability to access parental leave as under your current entitlements parental leave can be accessed after 40 weeks.

Should AU be increasing the length of service from 40weeks to 12months to qualify for parental leave?
