Gender Pay Gap in the European audiovisual sector

What do we know about the gender pay gap in the European audiovisual sector? How transparent is our sector and why does pay transparency matter? What are the different reasons behind the gender pay gap in our industry, and what can we do to reduce it?
These questions (and more) will be addressed by a panel of industry representatives who have already been working on the gender pay gap challenge, or who are willing to explore new ways of closing the gap in the future.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday 11 June 2024 from 14:00 to 16:00 at the Maison européenne des Auteurs et des Autrices (MEDAA), rue du Prince Royal 85-87, 1050 Brussels.
The meeting is organised by the Media, Entertainment & Arts sector of UNI Europa in partnership with the European Women's Audiovisual Network (EWA). It is co-funded by the European Union.
Simultaneous interpretation will be available in English and French.
The panel will be followed by a networking drink.
