This is the Application Form for Fora's Youth Advisory Committee. It will take around 15- 30 minutes to complete.
We're building a national committee of 13 young people from across Canada to advise on governance, bylaw/policy change, and youth engagement in nonprofits.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Be a young person between 18 and 29 years old
- Be located in Canada
- Have an interest in community engagement, governance, and leadership.
- Be available to participate in scheduled roundtables and check ins (2 hours every 3 months from July 2026 till March 2027)
- Be comfortable providing feedback in group and reflective settings
No prior governance or nonprofit board experience is required. An honorarium of $100 will be provided after each meeting to recognize and value your time and contributions.
