Item writers and item reviewers

The National Board of Public Health Examiners (NBPHE) is seeking nominations for item writers and item reviewers for the Certified in Public Health (CPH) examination.

Item writers are needed to develop new questions in the following domain areas:

• General Principles
• Health Policy Management
• Social Behavioral Sciences
• Communications
• Leadership
• Ethics
• Biology
• Systems Thinking

The NBPHE is considering changes to the content outline for the CPH exam and need volunteers from each of the CPH domain areas to review approximately 100 questions each and match them to a new outline. Reviewers will have online access to exam questions and will have approximately six weeks to complete this task. CPH are preferred.
